We stayed at Lebua State twice in 2 x weeks and could not have been happier with the size of the rooms, we were lucky to be upgraded on both occasions by the very friendly staff due to visiting in late October, The bar area's and restaurants on the roof of the hotel are absolutely amazing - The Hotel is conveniently located about 35 mins taxi to the airport which you pay around 600 bhat for a large taxi with 4 x large cases - the hotel can also arrange larger private taxis which are more comfortable for around 700-800 bhats to the Airport (BKK), You can access the river ferries (only 16 Bhat per passenger - on the road after the riverside mall behind the hotel about 8 mins walk ) or river cruisers for tourists which are about 200 bhat which includes English speaking guides ) both take you to the various temple sites along the river - there is also a free ferry across to the Iconsiam shopping centre and mall which has an amazing array of Premium branded shops and restaurants but also good value restaurants / street food section on the ground floor

Breakfast was included and was fine, but I have had better. We had a club room and went for tea and a drink each evening. The food was very bread-oriented it could have been a bit varied, but the staff were so lovely and friendly. We went one night to the roof top and had a very expensive but VERY nice glass of champagne and juice for my daughter, and it was lovely and worth the treat! The pool was closed for a day and they could not say when it would open and offered to send people via taxi to the Holiday Inn pool which was unappealing we considered moving but we stayed and it was fixed in a day so we were glad we stayed.

I have been to Bangkok 20+ times and this is the best-value (premium tier) 5 star property in Bangkok by a country mile. Have stayed many times here, Shangri La, Peninsula and Four Seasons as well as Grand Sheraton Sukhumvit, Waldorf, W, and countless others. On a $ for $ basis, Lebua leaves every other premium tier 5 star prop in dust for its overall value, room size, service, facilities, the best breakfast-spread in Bangkok, on-site premium restaurants and bars, lobby etc. No one else comes close.

The location and views from the upper floors. Our transfer from the airport to the PCR test centre and to the hotel was very well organised. Results came very quickly which was a bonus. We had a couple minor issues which were dealt with very promptly and efficiently by Assistant Front Desk Manager Marco who is an absolute asset to the establishment. Huge thanks to him!

Lebua is my favorite hotel. It is so perfect (except the breakfast). A free upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. A professional service. I had a problem with my key: they apologized and brought me delicious macarons! We dined also in the Mezzaluna (2 Michelinstars) and have a cocktail in the famous Skybar. Lebua is so fantastic!
